Baby Abigail Here!

Author: Michele /

Well, baby Abigail Grace made her grand debut on the world on July 28, 2009, one day after Elizabeth's 6th birthday. She weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 21 inches long. Today is her one week birthday and she is doing great. She is a happy, peaceful baby.

The rest of us are trying to get back to some semblance of order. It will no doubt take us a bit, but the goal is to start school again on a serious note by the beginning of September. I am currently looking for any sites, ideas etc so if you know any let me know. Elizabeth will be in first grade, Rachel will be Pre-K/Kinder and Julia is Pre-K.

Thank you so much to everyone for everything. We will be back to business soon!

I just read your "birth" story on UC. Wanted to let you know that I'm sorry for the things that happened. And really just wanted to check on you. Postpartum depression can be debilitating after that kind of "delivery". Seek help if you need it!!!

For Pre K I found Letter of the week (online) to be helpful...though I dont follow it exactly.

In fact I need to do a blog post on it. LOL

I just read your story on CE. I am so sorry that this happened to you.

I am so sorry that you live in such a fouled system. You are not a failure for not having the birth you planned. The system is constantly working against you, and always wants to section everyone, but moreso with women that have had a cesarean before.

After my cesarean, I had PPD, and now I realize I should have asked for help.

Don't feel like you aren't the mom you should be if you ask for help. After a delivery like that, PPD comes a lot easier.

I know you can do a UBAC with your next. You don't deserve to have another cesarean when your body works so well.

Lots of hugs and kisses to you!
